Our records are now available at the very excellent Hot Dog Musique & Cinema in London, Ontario. Definitely pay them a visit if you’re in the area. They stock tons of small label releases on cassette, cd-r, and vinyl, as well as zines, books, and movies on VHS and DVD.
Mike who opened up the shop late last year with his partner Pam had these very nice things to say about Fixture and the Cresting EP in particular:

One of my favourite discoveries of late 2010 was a small lo-fidelity pop/rock label from Montreal called Fixture Records. I found it hunting for any Dirty Beaches track I could get my hands on. It turned out Dirty Beaches wasn’t the only Ace up their sleeves.
I don’t know anything about Cresting. The 5 tracks that comprise the Cresting EP don’t necessarily sound like anything on Boards of Canada’s ‘Music Has the Right to Children’, Aphex Twin ‘Selected Ambient Works 1985-1992’ or Eno’s ‘Another Green World’, but like those records I’m transported to a uniquely beautiful place and it’s full steam ahead. Let’s call it a recommendation to those who think Compact Discs are becoming strangely-obscurely-cool again. Can I get a witness.
